Plans Woodworking Toy Will Make A Great Gift Idea

A great way to keep children's toys organized would be a box of wooden toys. A perfect size for your

toy box is 2 meters high, 18 cm wide and 3 meters long. This very easy-plane woodworking toy will be

just take a couple of hours. All you will need for this project are the basic power

tools and brushes. You will only need a small investment in materials with plywood, paint

and stencils (if you want to use). You can even include the children in this project and

you not only have some great bonding time, but you can help them learn how to design and implement

a fun project. You could give the kids the steps are easy and fun, like painting and the box

adding their own personality to it. They also have a tendency to use their new wooden toy

box more often when they helped build it.

After following these steps you will be able to assemble your plan woodworking toy. It starts

cut out of the plywood. You need 6 pieces of 1/2-inches. The front and rear of the box

should measure 36-by-24-inches and you will need 2 pieces of these. For the bottom you need to

cut a piece BY16-36 1/2 inches. Next would be the two sides of the box that should measure 22

1/2-by-16 1/2 inches. Finally, the upper part should measure 36-inch-by-18.

After that we measure the plywood, lay it on a flat surface. Then stand next to the front piece

lower. Begin to connect with six screws to 1? Inches. Do the same with the back.

You then slide the side parts of the box in-between the front and rear. You will now need four

1 1/2-inch screws and insert it in the front, back and bottom of the box in order to connect all

sides. Using three hinges safety, begin to secure it to the lid and then position one, 3

centimeters from each end. The third should be placed directly in the center. Next would be

position the lid on top of the box, after which the three hinges should be connected to the back.

The next step would be to ensure that all the screw holes are filled with wood putty. Let this

dry before sanding the entire box. Finally, smooth the wood putty and remove the remaining

irregular edges (if any). Now you can include children in painting and decorating wooden toy box

or they can add their own designs, if they want.

This simple weekend project will provide you and your children a beautiful piece of furniture and

can keep the mess on the floor in the bedroom or playroom. Having a good set of Toy

Woodworking plans will give you some wonderful ideas and save time in planning your next

work of art.
